To ensure smoother operations and manage congestion during peak hours at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), please be advised of the following:

  • Entrance to the Departure Lobby for visitors will not be facilitated during peak hours from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

    • This measure is being implemented to ensure greater convenience for all passengers and airport users. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
