Aluth Avurudda, as it is popularly called, is observed in an air of festivity all across the country with the emphasis on age-old cultural practices.
As is done every year, Bandaranaike International Airport and its staff joined all Sri Lankans in observing, at the appropriate auspicious times, the most significant traditions attached to this national cultural festival.
Ms. Ruvini Dias Bandaranaike, Executive Director of AASL, who was present on the occasion wished the staff and all airport users a prosperous New Year on behalf of the AASL Management.
