The Awards Ceremony was held on 29th April 2015 at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in connection with the mega seasonal promotion titled Airport Christmas Shopping Festival which was conducted for the 5th consecutive year by Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited (AASL) during 1st December 2014 – 31st January 2015.

The Grand Prize for this year was the brand new Cherry J3 car sponsored by Ideal Cherry Automobiles (Pvt) Ltd. which was won by an Indian passenger Mr. Deepesh Pradhan from Mumbai.

Passing another milestone in this wonderful event this time AASL joint hand with Airport Duty Free concessioners, donatedRs. 135,000/- to "Cerebral Palsy Lanka Foundation" at Wattala, to buy special wheelchairs for children affected by Cerebral Palsy and other development disorders,as a Corporate Social Responsibility in line with the Airport Christmas Shopping Festival.

Mr. AnandaWimalasena Chairman of AASL was the Chief Guest at the Award Ceremony amidst a distinguished gathering which comprised Mr. Aravinda de Silva Deputy Chairman of Ideal Cherry Automobiles (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Sanjeewa Wijerathna , Vice Chairman of AASL and Ms. Ruwani Dias Bandaranaike, Executive Director of AASL, senior managerial representative of co-Sponsors &Concessionaires, HODs of AASL and last but not least, the lucky winners themselves emerged from various parts of the country and Internationally accompanied by their dear and near ones.
