"Sith Pahan Vee" Annual Song Recital by CATC

The staff of Civil Aviation Training Centre held the annual song recital ' සිත් පහන් වී ' for the 3rd consecutive occasion in the backdrop of 'Poson Poya' on 4th July 2019 at the CATC Auditorium. Chairman, Mr Dammika Ranatunga was the Chief Guest while Executive Director Mr Sanjeewa Wijeratne also graced the occasion as the guest of honour. Several heads of divisions, senior officers, staff of other locations, families of staff, and several ex-employees were also present while veteran actress Ms. Damitha Aberatne was present on special invitation.

The recital consisted of a series of enchanting devotional songs which included popular radio songs as well as original creations of CATC team. The cost of the entire event was met through generous contributions of the CATC team and the support staff of the CATC played the leading role in organizing the event.

The theme of this year's event was 'May peace blossom; may compassion spread". The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present.
