AASL Women’s Day Celebration 2026

The Seva Vanitha Association of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) hosted a vibrant Women’s Day program at Avenra Gardens, Negombo on 10th March evening, under the inspiring theme “Let’s Celebrate the Power of Women.” The event brought together the AASL women staff members in a celebration of empowerment, confidence, and holistic well-being.
The highlight of the event was the presence of - Ms. Anudi Gunasekara, Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World 2024 who took part as the guest of honour, who shared her insights on women’s empowerment and resilience through her speech which was followed by an engaging Q&A panel discussion, where participants explored themes of confidence, leadership, and personal growth.
The event also featured a lively fitness performance, reminding participants of the importance of physical health, alongside captivating dance performances that celebrated creativity and cultural expression. The energy continued as the dance floor opened with a DJ session, encouraging everyone to join in the spirit of celebration.
Through this celebration, AASL Seva Vanitha Association highlighted their dedication to fostering inclusivity, resilience, and empowerment, ensuring women continue to thrive both personally and professionally.
