Sri Lanka Airport and Aviation Academy (SLAAA) Launched its First International Air Traffic Control Training Course Since Rebranding as an Academy
June 04, 2024
We are thrilled to announce that the Air Traffic Services Wing of the Sri Lanka Airport and Aviation Academy (SLAAA) has launched its first international air traffic control training course since rebranding as an academy. This specialised aerodrome control training is tailored for a group of six air traffic controllers from Bhutan, started on June 3, 2024.
SLAAA is proud to be a full member of ICAO’s TRAINAIR PLUS programme and a Certified Aviation Training organization. The state-of-the-art simulator provides realistic training, ensuring seamless integration into control tower duties.
Chosen for our credentials and expertise, we are honoured to train Bhutan's air traffic ontrollers. This 3-month programme reinforces SLAAA’s position as a premier aviation academy in South Asia.
AASL, the parent company of SLAAA, is proud to support fellow SAARC countries in promoting safe skies across the region and beyond.
