Aiding the Visually Impaired, Donating White Canes to the Sri Lanka Welfare Society for the Blind

The Christian Association of Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) has organized a corporate social responsibility initiative that involved donating 100 white canes to the Sri Lanka Welfare Society of the Blind. This was organized by the AASL Christian Association upon the request of the Sri Lanka Welfare Society for the Blind.
At the handing-over ceremony organized on today, 17th January 2023 at the AASL security auditorium Major General (Rtd.) G. A. Chandrasiri, Chairman, noted that the canes will go a long way in assisting in the rehabilitation of persons who would have lost their eyesight.
