Currently, Mr. Jayasekara is an Advisor to Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga, Minister of Transport & Civil Aviation. He served in the Sri Lanka Air Force for 30 years and held the position of Director Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering. At his premature retirement, he was able to hold the rank Air Commodore. After his retirement from the Air Force, he was appointed as the Manager of the Sri Lanka National Cricket team for a period of 4 years and was then appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Sri Lanka Cricket for a further period of 4 years.

During his tenure as the Manager of the National Cricket team, Sri Lanka were Joint Champions (with India) in the Champions Trophy in 2002 and were Semi-Finalists in the Cricket World Cup 2003 in South Africa. During his tenure as the CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket, Sri Lanka hosted the Cricket World Cup 2011 and the World Twenty 20 Tournament in 2012.

Mr. Ajit Jayasekara is a graduate of the Air Command & Staff College, US Air Force Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery Alabama, USA (Class of 1989) and a member of the Alumni of the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA in year 2000. He successful completed the Electricals & Instruments (Overseas Officers') Course at Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, UK in 1975 and successfully completed the Ground Radar (Overseas Officers') Course at Royal Air Force Station Locking, Weston Super Mare, Avon, UK in 1985.

Skilled in Airport Operations, International Airlines Management, Market Planning, Branding and Aviation Strategy development. Strong business development professional with a Master of Science (MSc) focused in International Marketing from London South Bank University.

As the Senior General Manager of Sales and Distribution, Chandika Vitharana is responsible for the increase of Mobitel’s subscriber base and revenue generation, achieved through the management of the distribution channels which are the primary contributors to the addition of new subscribers. He is also responsible for the overall Marketing Operations at Mobitel.

Aggressive execution of his sales plan through various distributions channels, resulted in Mobitel consolidating the second place in the Sri Lankan mobile telecommunication sphere, with impressive growth in its subscriber base by the end of Q1, 2010.

Chandika has over 14 years of experience in mobile communications which incepted from Lanka Cellular Services (Pvt) Ltd as a Marketing Executive from 1992-1994. He later moved on to Call Link and held the post of Sales manager from 1994-1996. Chandika joined Mobitel in 1996 as Sales Manager. Two years later he was promoted to his current position as the General Manager Sales and Distribution and in January 2009 he was further elevated as Senior General Manager.

Chandika holds a B A (Honours) Degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi, India.

Shehan Sumanasekara is the Managing Director / CEO Mclloyds Holdings and holds positions as Director at three other diversified organizations.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wales ( UK) , being one of the top 5 universities in UK with its Chancellor being Charles, Prince of wales.

Shehan also is a commercially rated pilot holding a commercial Pilot license from FAA (Federal Aviation Authority USA).

Growing up learning to fly aircraft and spending days and nights at aerodromes, the hard earned flying hours, and the technical knowledge he possesses gives him an edge in the aviation industry to identify opportunities and current demands.

Supply of Jet A1, Gasoil through thorough procurement processes to the national oil Refinery in Sri Lanka, the supply of Supramax vessels (50,000-60,000 DWT) for the freightment of coal shipments to Sri Lanka, Manufacturing and supply Bitumen and MC-30 emultions for the development of Highways including the Katunayake and southern expressways are a few of the key areas Shehan has mastered while having long term contracts with such agencies.

The international business exposure that Shehan possesses is a powerful tool that he uses in making key strategic decisions in his organization. Further, he chairs a Foundation "Jana Sahana Padanama" which his father was instrumental in establishing in the year 1999 which predominantly is a NGO organization assisting communities to uplift quality of life and seek to transform the lives of many children in Sri Lanka by various initiatives to achieve equality in education.

Deirdre De Livera is a seasoned professional in the field of Travel & Aviation Management. Having begun her career at the tender age of 19, where she played an integral part in setting up operations of Japan Airlines in Sri Lanka, since then has come a long way. She has held key positions at Japan Airlines, Thai International, Jetwing Travels and Jetwing Air Services to name a few.

During her stint at Jetwing Air Services, she was country manager of multiple airlines such as Sahara India Airlines, Malev Hungarian Airlines, Tap Air Portugal, Iberia, and Lauda Air giving her a vast amount of experience and knowledge in the aviation industry around the globe. Deirdre’s vibrant personality coupled with an eye for detail allows her to be a formidable force to reckon with at a top management level in the field of Aviation in Sri Lanka.

Mr. L W A De Soysa was educated at St. Thomas College, Mt. Lavinia and subsequently obtained a Degree in Economics from the University of Leicester, UK.

He was appointed as the Chairman of the Audit Management Committee during the period from April 2015 to December 2017 and continues to be a member of this committee. He also served on the Board of Directors as Non Executive Director from March 2002 to April 2004.

Mr. R Ketawalage has completed the academy program of Workers Education Degree at University of Peradeniya. He has educated at Bandaranaike College, Gampaha.

He has held various executive positions at government and semi government organisations. Mr. R Ketawalage has served as Coordinating Secretary to the Hon. Speaker from 2000 to 2001. He was appointed as Coordinating Secretary to the Minister of Industries and Investment Promotion, Tourism, Foreign Affairs and National Heritage from 2004 to 2007. He was also appointed as Coordinating Secretary to H E Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumarathunga and Director to the President office. He served as Executive Director in Kahatagaha Graphite Lanka Ltd from 2004 to 2006.

Mr. J M Goonewardena was graduated in Hospitality Management & Global Leadership Development at J W Marriott Hotels & Resorts. He is a graduate in Sabre System at American Airlines Flight Academy and also a graduate in International Hospitality Management at Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management in UAE.

Mr. J M Goonewardena was the former Consul General of Sri Lanka to the eleven Western States of USA which includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. He is a Senior Coordinator to H.E the President between Sri Lanka and USA. He serves as Honorary Sri Lanka Consul General to Colombia and Venezuela and Honorary Mayor to City of Oceanside, California, USA. He was also appointed as a Former Sri Lanka Consul General to Los Angeles (Western States of US).

Eng. Upul Manchanayake is a Chartered Engineer & Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers (Sri Lanka). He counts over 26 years’ experience in the telecommunication industry as a technical and engineering professional with extensive experience in project management well acquainted with technology best practices and a qualified professional in engineering management.

Now He is reading for Executive MSc in Project Management at Asia e University of Malaysia.

He is an active member of the Government’s Provincial Administration Procedures and Citizen Participation Development Committee and Justice of Pease for All island. Eng. Manchanayake gained experience in the Japanese corporate management program on Japanese philosophy and active member of Japan Sri Lanka Technical Association Sri Lankan Alumni of the overseas human resources and industry development association. He has contributed to develop a project proposal of a solar power sustainable energy project of Sterling Gensis in India, which includes 10GWH (Gigawatt Hour) and it was well accepted by the Indian authorities.

Eng. Manchanayake was appointed to the Board of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 12 December 2019.

Eng. Upul Manchanayake was appointed as the Director Talantfort (pvt) Limited by the Group Chairman SLT since 30th October 2020.

Currently, he serves as the CEO Designate for Sri Lanka Telecom - Digital Info Services (Pvt) Limited. Also, he has more than eight years of experience as a Deputy General Manager of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC holding responsibilities in the fields of Telecommunications network expansion and penetrate voice, broadband, and data services island-wide.

Eng. Manchanayake has more than 26 years’ experience in all facets of telecommunications including fixed, wireless, broadband, data, and overall network. This includes capital and infrastructure development, operations, sales, marketing, customer service, provisioning new connections, and out side plant developments and maintenance to fulfill business objectives.

He has had responsibility for multi-billion-rupee projects and integrations including network transformations and deployments across the country by deploying multiple technologies, with extensive experience in project management.

He also served as a member of the senior tender evaluation committee to enable major network development projects.

He is holding a Master of Business Administration from the Preston University of USA. He is also graduated from the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka in Electrical Power Engineering (Heavy Current) and holding a Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering Technology from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

A veteran aviator, Capt. Milinda Ratnayake, clocking over 15,000 hours of flying passenger aircrafts, has witnessed the operations of Air Ceylon, Air Lanka, and Sri Lankan Airlines for over 40 years. Besides his flying career, he also possesses a wealth of managerial experience overlooking Flight Operations and Service Delivery (managing security, cabin crew, and ground handling). He held the position of Vice Chairman of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Pvt) Limited in 2018.

He has travelled exclusively from Australia, the Far East, Europe, and North & South America.

He is the only Sri Lankan to be a representative of the Flight Operations Group with IATA. An avid golfer, Capt. Ratnayake looks forward to bringing positive changes and improvements to the Aviation Industry.

Renuka is an Attorney-at-Law having over 23 years experience of the BAR as a corporate lawyer.

Having entered the Faculty of Science University of Colombo and Sri Lanka Law College at the same year, she graduated with a B.Sc (general) Degree in biological sciences and enrolled to the BAR in the year 1998. She obtained her LLM in International Trade Law from the University of Wales and Post Attorney’s Diploma in Intellectual property Law from the Advance Legal Studies Unit of Sri Lanka Law College.

Renuka commenced her carrier at Union Bank of Colombo Limited as a Legal Officer and having served over a period of 9 years in the banking sector she resigned as the Board Secretary /Company Secretary and the Manager Legal of the Bank and joined as the Group Legal Advisor of George Steuarts Group where she served for 5 years. In her freelance legal consultancy work she has served 9 years as the Group Legal Advisor of United Motors Lanka PLC, and presently she provides her services as the Legal Consultant to Colombo YMBA and few other corporate clients as well.

Mr Sunil De Silva is a professional banker with over 41 years of experience in the areas of Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Micro Finance, Credit Management and Recoveries. He has commenced his banking career with Bank of Ceylon and had served BOC for 26 years including 3 years service at BOC London branch. He has also served as Senior Deputy General Manager at Seylan Bank Plc and Deputy General Manager of Pan Asia Bank Plc.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and served as a visiting lecturer at the institute for over 2 decades. Mr. De Silva is the author of the first ever banking book in Sri Lanka on ‘Credit Management’ which is a recommended textbook for IBSL banking exams. Mr De Silva is a life member of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka (APB) and currently serves on the Advisory Committee and Fund Management committee of the APB. He is also a life member of the Sri Lanka Trade Association.

Mr. De Silva holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Peradeniya and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business & Financial Administration from the Institute of Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka.

He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka during the period 2005-2010 and was an Independent Director of Sarvodaya Finance Plc during 2020-2022.

Mr. Sunil De Silva served as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to South Africa during the period 2015-2018 and the High Commissioner of Kenya during 2018-2019.

Mr. De Silva served as the Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and UN Human Settlement Programme (UNHABITAT) during 2018-2019.

Cyril Wannigama was born on 10th January 1961 and after passing the university entrance exam, he was admitted for a four year full time course at the University of Sri Jayawardanepura in 1980. He graduated in 1984 with a BSc (Business Administration) degree. After receiving suitable training, he accepted a government teaching post at the University entrance level in 1985 and served as a Teacher until 1987.

Wannigama took three competitive exams; Sri Lanka Government Accountancy Service, Local Government Accountancy Service and the Sri Lanka Audit Service and passed all three exams. He chose the Sri Lanka Audit Service in 1987 and worked as a Superintendent of Audit at the Auditor General's Department until 1992.

He joined Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Ltd., in 1992 as a Senior Executive Internal Audit and became the top of the Division in 1995 and retired in 2021 serving the business enterprise for 29 years. Wannigama observed chartered accountancy directions and finished assessments in 1994 and acquired the club in 1995. He additionally took up the Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland and finished in 2009 and Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He also obtained Membership from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia.
