As in any other organization, the task of acquiring and managing a talent pool for the company is handled by our HR division.
It handles the recruitment, training and development, career development, and cessation of employment of company staff. It also maintains all personal records, appraisal of employee performance, staff welfare, workman’s compensation and industrial relations.
Since our company employs many trades of specialized staff, the attraction, training and retention of such staff is somewhat challenging than conventional recruitment and retention done in typical organizations. Our HR division copes by having stringent selection criteria, innovative selection techniques, arranging for specialized quality training and by providing many perquisites (very much above these typically provided in state organizations).
It also uses modern HR management concepts such as 1800 appraisal, management by objectives and grievance handling.
The HR Division is the division empowered to draft and enforce administrative regulations for the company.
