Electronics & Air Navigation Engineering Division, being one of the divisions functioning under the purview of Chairman makes a vital contribution in the provision of Air Navigation Services. This division is primarily responsible for the maintenance, calibration and upgrading of equipment used to provide Air navigation Services within the Flight Information Region (FIR) of Sri Lanka in keeping with the Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS) stipulated by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It is also involved with maintenance of Airport Electronics Systems, Surveillance and Communication systems and Security screening systems.
